*May 19th - a Swim Party at Lindbergh Pool from 6:00-7:30. We will have a bake sale afterwards.

 Our Walk-a-Thon .. We are asking each student to collect $6.00. If every student can collect and donate $6.00, then we will meet our  goal. IF we meet our goal, then Ms. Tapper will dye her hair for the walk.  The whole school will walk on Friday  June 1st at  2:10pm.
 *
June 1st is  also our last Movie Night of the year. We will be showing Dolphin Tale, selling pizza and nachos and soda. Food is ready at 6:00 and the Movie starts at 6:30.

We need some volunteers to help water the garden area. Please let  us know if you are interested. We would like to create a schedule by Week.  This will spread out the amount of time needed by each person.

Garden donations- We are needing garden gloves(kid size), hand tools, and watering cans. If you have other items to donate, please email us at garden@rentonparkpta.org.

Box Tops and Labels we collect em!
*Grant to build a Garden at Renton Park. We have been chosen as a recipient of a Lowes Toolbox  for Eduation grant. This will allow us to plan and put in a Learning Garden Classroom at Renton Park this year. Woo Hoo!  We can use your help, email the greenteam@rentonparkpta.org to volunteer. We need ideas, labor, materials and more!

April 30th - Cookie Dough Order pick up
May 1st - Plant Sale pick up -3:30-6pm under the covered area
May 3rd - Kindergarten Roundup @ 6pm
May 8th - PTA meeting @ 7pm in the teachers lounge
May 7-11 - Teacher Appreciation week. We need donations of food items for the Breakfast on Tuesday May 8th and lunch side dishes and desserts for Thursday May 10th. Look for a sheet home with your students.

Movie night volunteers – Help sell pizza and popcorn tickets, serve pizza, serve popcorn. Clean up after (sweeping and putting chairs away) usually done around 8:30    

Popping Popcorn - Learn how to pop popcorn and put into the big bins on Fridays for the students to sell at lunch.

Walk a Thon 

*** We are making extra efforts to shorten our PTA meetings, so come and see what’s going on.

We would like to encourage you to continue to collect BOX TOPS and LABELS FOR EDUCATION this summer and turn them in when school begins.
Our school gets cash and supplies for the school from these programs. Every Label and Box top counts!

Please continue to Terracycle this summer, a collection list has gone home this week with the students for the summer. Bring your Terracycle stuff to the BBQ in August. Again, our school gets cash to support Renton Park from these programs.
