Renton Park focuses on programs that enhance learning, physical health, community engagement and environmental awareness.
Throughout the school year, Renton Park PTA offers multiple activities and events every month. We have a varied schedule with activities during school-time, in the afternoons and evenings, as well as weekend events too.

We have amazing teachers at Renton Park working hard every day. The PTA builds on the lessons happening in the classroom so students have extra opportunities to explore areas that they love. We focus our time on areas such as

Healthy Students
We believe students learn best when they are healthy and strong. That is why we sponsor and/or support many activities that promote student health. Whether it is assisting the school nurse or the PE teacher, creating our own activities or supporting spending time outdoors- the physical well-being of our children is always in the forefront.
Community Spirit
Family Events
Renton Park PTA creates family friendly events all year long (usually these are FREE!). It is important for students to create lasting memories with their school, family and friends.
We also believe in giving back to our community so we oversee the Renton Park Community Garden and work with our school Family Liaison to support the annual Giving Tree. We also give back to our teachers and school with monetary allotments, staff appreciation, books for the library, equipment for PE, etc.

Green School
Our PTA puts a lot of effort into keeping Renton Park a King County Level 1 Green School. Our award-winning Green Team works everyday at our school, our garden is available rain or shine, and our events during the year teach the importance of caring for our environment.
