All donations to Renton Park PTA are tax deductible because we are a nonprofit organization with a 501(c)(3) designation, tax ID # 91-1119079. At any point during the year you can make donations to the PTA. Additionally the price of any items (food, supplies, etc.) donated for events or activities can also be taken off your taxes.
Talk to your company about making donations to Renton Park PTA. Since we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization all donations are tax deductible for your company as well. Our tax ID is 91-1119079. Some companies will match your donations (fully or partially). Talk to your HR today!
Some companies that match gifts are Boeing, Microsoft, Puget Sound Energy, Verizon, Nintendo, etc.
Volunteer Grants
Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs created to encourage volunteerism in communities where employees live and work. Through these programs, companies provide monetary grants to organizations where employees volunteer regularly. Since we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization we qualify to receive these grants. Our tax ID is 91-1119079.
For example, Microsoft will pay Renton Park PTA $25 for each hour a Microsoft employee volunteers for our PTA. Other companies that do this are Verizon, Aetna, AllState, Boeing, Nordstrom and more. Talk to your HR today so you can take advantage of this program!
