FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the Renton Park Fun Run?

The Renton Park Fun Run is a 13 day fundraiser, taking place on 10/22/2025. Families will be getting donations for the minutes their student runs, walks, and moves at the Renton Park Fun Run. Funds raised from this event go toward student and family enrichment experiences! Our goal is to raise $9,000.

How can families sign up their student(s)?

First, families log in or sign up on MYBOOSTER.COM. Then, families can sign up their student as a participant on MYBOOSTER.COM by searching for the school by name. Students get a FREE prize just for signing up.

How can students get donations?

Families can help connect students to sponsors by sharing their fundraising link on Facebook, through email, or even a text. Sponsors can enter and pay for those donations online through students’ fundraising link!

Will my student really move for 30 minutes? How big is the track?

Yes, even Kindergarteners & Ready K! The Outdoor Fun Run track is about 1/16th of a mile, 1/4 the size of a normal high school track. The average student will keep their bodies moving for 30 minutes to help their school.

Are donations per lap or flat?

All donations are flat donations—we do not count laps. Every student is encouraged to run, walk, or move around the track for 30 minutes.

What if families don’t have the Internet?

If a student’s family does not have Internet access, families can send in cash or check in an envelope labeled with their student’s name and their teacher’s name.

How do sponsors pay?

Sponsors will be prompted to pay online for all donations, even per minute donations. Sponsors will receive an email after the Renton Park Fun Run with the amount of their payment based on how many minutes were completed.

When is donation money due?

Donation money is due within ONE WEEK after the event. Families have one week to collect their donations after the Renton Park Fun Run.

Can I make a donation if I don’t want to pay online?

YES! You can turn in cash or a check to donate to the fundraiser.

Can I write a check?

For donations not made on MYBOOSTER.COM, you can still turn in cash or check. Please make checks out to: Renton Park Elementary PTA

Can I come cheer on my student(s) at the Fun Run?

Yes! More information about run times will be coming out as we get closer to the event.
